Digimax selected as Taiwan's Top 100 brands

August 3, 2011; Taipei, Taiwan – Digimax Inc. was recently selected amongst Taiwan's Top 100 Brands by the Ministry of Economics Affairs (MOEA).

To celebrate the 100th birthday of the Republic of China (ROC) in Taiwan, MOEA held the contest to select 100 top domestic brands to pay tribute to outstanding enterprises and present Taiwan's economic strength. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), a government-backed trade promoter, was commissioned to organize the contest, another aim of which was to highlight Taiwan's transition from contract manufacturing to own-brand promotion.

“The interesting thing about cultural and creative industries is that there is no excludability,” said Jeff Yang, vice-president of Digimax. ”After you watched a movie today, you can watch another one a few days later, and therefore content quality and creativity is the key. Digimax’s successful Adventure in National Palace Museum series and other animated films created a valuable brand in the global stage by dedication to creating family-oriented and endearing animated characters.”

TAITRA reports that the top 100 Taiwan brands were selected from 498 entries from various industries, including computers, electronics, information software technology, telecommunications, hardware, hand tools, chemicals, textiles, household equipment & building materials, healthcare, transportation equipment, leisure & recreation, fashion, cosmetics, food, and machinery, as well as eight major service sectors: health care, tourism, finance & insurance, logistics, cultural creation, construction engineering, catering and media.
