Digimax releases 3D animation “Nature's Wrath: Taiwan's Inconvenient Truth” for International Floral Expo

Dec 12, 2010; Taipei, Taiwan – Digimax Inc, a leading CG animation studio, today introduced “Nature's Wrath: Taiwan's Inconvenient Truth”, a 3D animated short film for the International Floral Exposition. The animation will be played at the Truth Pavilion during the six-month exhibition, providing visitors a high-quality entertainment, education and visual experience.

The mission of the Truth Pavilion and the animated short is to demonstrate the importance of environmental protection and prevention of global warming. Through software and hardware integration in 3D innovations and an endearing story, Digimax is able to show dangers of epic proportion when nature strikes back.

The production team includes Richard Kidd, visual director for "Transformers" and "Spiderman 3", and Karen Goulekas, special effects director for "Titanic" and "The Day After Tomorrow"

“Nature's Wrath: Taiwan's Inconvenient Truth” is based on a disaster caused by one of Taiwan’s most devastating typhoons. The protagonist Ah-Yi and his grandma live in a peaceful town on the countryside. One typhoon night, a landslide triggered by the down-pour rumbles towards the town. Can Ah-Yi, grandma and the town folks survive? The film will be played in full HD and stereoscopic 3D technologies.
